Transnational project meeting and national event in Spain

On January 17 and 18, 2024, the last face-to-face meeting of the partners participating in the Digitronics project was held, to close the project, and monitor the tasks, and the final documentation of the project.

On the 17th, the website was checked with the information received from the different piloting sessions carried out by partners and collaborators of all the partners .

The improvements were reviewed and small defects to improve were marked.

In the afternoon, a tour of the City of Girona took place with the participants who came to the session.

On January 18, the examination of other aspects of the project were carried out, such as the quality assurance and the sustainability plan. In the afternoon, the Spanish Partners National event took place. Here’s a breakdown:

The event was prepared in collaboration with the participants of the Digitronics program.

We were able to fit the event with the last face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus program, especially with the help of the French partners, and just organized by the Spanish partners of this project.

Vicent Pastor supported his explanation of how the studies in Mechatronics are and where they are going through a slide presentation. Also,  he illustrated the various educational levels in Catalonia, the location of the industrial Mechatronics studies, and how to access this qualification.

Albert Marron, when showing his company, its products and the training and knowledge requirements that a Mechatronics technician must have, relied on a set of slides showing different manufacturing processes. In which the different skills that any current mechatronic worker must have were demonstrated.

Pol Tolrà in his presentation of the company, and its different manufacturing processes, where industry 4.0 actively participates and industry 5.0 enters with force. He linked in a slide presentation of the different manufacturing processes, the different processes involved in the history of the industry, starting with industry 1.0 to industry 5.0 that involves artificial intelligence.

Teresa Costa supported herself with the Digitronics web page, showing the different sections, until reaching the courses or modules that can be taken, where she explained how the modules work, how to move through the digital entrance, being able to carry out the training to your liking each trainer and/or learner, and how obtaining the different certificates works.

Isaí Garcia to explain the process of creation, training, revision, and piloting of the modules.
How partners conducted the piloting report and how the modules translated into Spanish, which shows the study carried out by 27 trainers in mechatronics of different technical skills such as mechanics, electricity, electronics or industrial programming. The final conclusions of the report, and its approval, were seen.

The day ended with the feeling that the resource used on the Digitronics page will be useful, due to the trend in the use of digitalization of the Mechatronics profession.
