THE E-LEARNING PLATFORM DEDICATED TO THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF MECHATRONICS TEACHERS AND TRAINERS

It’s with great pleasure that we inform you that the Digitronics project’s E-Learning platform is ready!

The platform offers four modules, free and accessible through the project website https://mechatronicstrainersdigitronics.eu/

The general objective of the modules is to bring innovation to teaching through the adoption of digital tools, pedagogical methodologies, and the development of transversal skills to support the technical ones.

The modules at a glance

Module 1 – TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR THE FUTURE WORKFORCE
This first introductory module aims to stimulate reflections on the skills and capabilities identified as essential for the future trainers of Mechatronics. These skills are necessary for facilitating learning experiences for their students in the context of continuous digital transformations.

Module 2  – DIGITAL TOOLS TO ENGAGE LEARNERS This module focuses on using digital tools in a way that engages learners in their professional training. Mechatronics teachers/trainers will find tips, methods and examples for creating and managing online seminars, integrating simulations using digital and virtual tools, and fostering an inclusive online classroom.

Module 3 – EXPERT MATTERS: TEACHING FUTURE TECHNICAL AND SOFT SKILLS
The main goal of this module is to establish a connection between technical abilities and transversal skills, enabling teachers/trainers to prepare their learners/trainees for the future labor market.

Module 4 – THE MECHATRONICS ECOSYSTEM This module focuses on better understanding and using the mechatronics ecosystem with related stakeholders (companies, industrial actors, learners, teaching/training institutions, etc.) for professional development and to integrate best practices into teaching/training courses. Teachers and trainers will find tips, methods and examples on creating and mobilizing their own networks to further build bridges between industry needs and teaching/training institutional practices.
